Our 5th grade students are having a fantastic time at camp! It’s such a wonderful opportunity for them to relax, unwind, and enjoy the great outdoors. Even more special—they’re getting to meet fellow 5th graders from the other school in our district before heading to junior high together. So many memories being made!

Teacher Appreciation Week is next week! Let’s come together to spoil our amazing teachers who pour their hearts and souls into our students every single day. If you’re willing and able, we’d love your help in showing them just how much they’re valued. Now’s our chance to say thank you for everything they do — big and small!

Today, all of our students who met their Accelerated Reader (A.R.) goal last quarter were treated to a fun-filled afternoon! Thanks to our amazing PTO, they enjoyed a dance party, a sweet treat, and some extra outside time. Great job, readers — we’re proud of your hard work!📚📖

🎉 Staff Spotlight Winner! 🌟 Join us in celebrating Brett Hardy, our outstanding Staff Spotlight Winner this week! 🏆 Brett is “thee custodian” of our school, and he’s been recognized as doing so much for us all and always being “our main man.” His hard work and dedication keeps our school running smoothly, and we couldn’t do it without him! As a token of our appreciation, Brett will receive the coveted apple 🍏 and can swing by Mrs. Holyoak’s office to choose a special prize! Thank you, Brett, for everything you do—your efforts truly make our school a better place! 👏✨

She is the calm in the chaos, the master of multitasking, the keeper of all the things , and the friendly face that holds it all together. From band-aids to budgets, parent phone calls to last-minute copies, she does it all with grace, humor, and heart. Jennifer is known for doing “all” the things—from helping plan for the end of the year to being absolutely awesome in everything she takes on. Her energy, organization, and all-around greatness keep things running smoothly, and we’re so lucky to have her! Reminder: Tonight is our Annual Ice Cream Social from 5:00–6:30 PM! Join us for a fun-filled evening to socialize with staff and fellow families. Check out the amazing K-2 art projects and 3-5 geography displays while you’re here. Ice cream will be available for $1–$3. We can’t wait to see you there!

Kindergarten had an egg-citing time with a fun and educational egg hunt! Look at these adorable little learners in action!

Our 3rd-5th graders had a blast celebrating the end of state testing! They enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon outside, soaking up the beautiful weather and playing games. A well-deserved break for all their hard work!

🍽️ Staff Spotlight Winner! 🌟 Let’s give a big round of applause to Ms. Tracey, one of our beloved lunch ladies and this week’s Staff Spotlight Winner! 🏆 Ms. Tracey is known for always taking care of the kids, being wonderful with them, and treating each child with kindness as they come through the cafeteria. Her caring heart and warm smile make a difference every single day! 💖 Thank you, Ms. Tracey, for filling both hearts and stomachs! 🥰👏

Show Low Junior High will be hosting an Open House Tour on May 6th from 5:30–7:00 PM for incoming 6th graders and their families. The staff is excited to meet everyone and welcome you to the junior high! In addition, the 5th graders will be visiting the junior high during school hours on the morning of May 6th for their own tour. We’re looking forward to this exciting next step for our students!

First Grade Welcomes Fools Hollow Recreation Guest Speaker! Our first grade students had an exciting and educational visit from a special guest from Fools Hollow Recreation Area! They learned all about bald eagles, baby eagles (eaglets), and the importance of wildlife conservation. The students asked great questions, shared what they knew, and were so engaged in the learning experience. To top it all off, they each became honorary Junior Rangers—a proud moment for our young nature lovers!

Good morning, Linden families! Just a reminder that the Navajo County Health Department will be at Linden Elementary today from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. They’ll be offering FREE vaccinations for students entering Kindergarten and 6th grade. Stop by if you'd like to take advantage of these amazing resources—we hope to see you there!
