Success is not a happy accident—it takes careful planning and preparation. At Show Low JH, we desire to help every student succeed by developing goals and mapping a path to turn those goals into reality. With the help of our community partners, we proudly offer our students a variety of opportunities to start them on the road to success.

Each month, SLJHS will fully embrace the given character trait of the month. We will integrate themes into curriculum and student activities. At the end of the month, teachers will nominate the students who best demonstrate the character trait to attend a special lunch arranged with the principal and sponsored by the Pizza Factory.

The traits are:

• August - responsibility

• September - respect

• October - integrity

• November - service

• December - caring

• January - fairness

• February - leadership

• March - understanding

• April - excellence

• May - inspire
